As of recently, neighbors and visitors of Takomah Park now have a place to sit on Lake side.
Nestled under the trees, are two bench & tables just feets away from waste baskets installed last year.
This new addition will allow guests and residents to enjoy the views of our warm sunsets. Right in our own backyard!
In addition to the table and benches, the association raised concerns about the flooding on N. Myrtle. Recently, the City of Tampa Water and Storm dept also addressed the drainage concern that would flood N. Myrtle St. The association was not made aware of the updates.
This a huge win for the neighbors who live or drives in front of this park and who deals with the flooding every time it rains.
We want to thank the City of Tampa for finding a solution on a long-time request for seating. We hope this will bring more people out to our park. :)
These changes will continue to improve the comfort and livability in Terrace Park.
